ABSTRACT
The article reports a survey on the audiobook industry in the U.S. The Audio Publishers Association (APA) released two surveys which are based on consumers and sales of audiobooks. The sales survey showed a 12% increase in sales over 2006, with audio book sales at approximately U.S.$1 billion. The consumer survey revealed a result of 3% increase over 2006, with 2,363 American adult consumers who have listened to an audiobook.
