New AOD Converter On Line at NAS

The article focuses on the development and completion of the first argon oxygen decarburization (AOD) converter project of North American Stainless (NAS) in Ghent, Kentucky. The company claims that the said AOD 2 project which built by Siemens-VAII was finished within the estimated budget and on time period. The said expansion projects will allow the company to produce heats of 150 metric tons and run 20 to 24 heats per day.
