ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of Ternium S.A. to invest $4.2 billion for the development of a flat steel plant in Mexico in 2008. The primary purpose of the said project is for the expansion of its production capacity. The company estimates that the modern facility will require a total investment of $2.7 billion and expected to be completed and in full production in the next four years.
