ATI Plans Billion-Dollar, Four-Year Investment

The article focuses on the plan of Allegheny Technologies Inc. (ITI) to invest a four year $1.16 billion strategic investment on its flat-rolled products segment in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. ITI expects more than 20 percent return on investment on the said project by 2014 and an estimated cost reduction of $120 million. The proposed investment would able to help the company's specialty metals hot-rolling and processing facility improve capabilities.
