ABSTRACT
The article offers information on implementing a kaizen blitz. The entry notes that a kaizen blitz program is usually done whenever the assembly or manufacturing line experiences quality or productivity problems. It cites that a kaizen blitz is executed by a team of six to ten people who are tasked to improve a process within 2 to 5 days. It describes how the Automatic Screw Machine Products Co. conducted a 3-day kaizen blitz program to improve the processing of slotted aerospace fasteners.
