ABSTRACT
The article discusses the differences between the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 15693 and ISO 14443 worldwide. Both 15693 and 14443 are radio frequency identification (RFID) basics for vicinity card and proximity card, respectively. It states that smartcard standards are important to an enterprise application since it could make a difference in the bottom line and relationship among users of card access system.
