ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the use of television (TV) as an important tool for patient care. These television sets are being utilized in sophisticated education, in the promotion of patient health and safety, in increasing patient satisfaction and in enhancing staff efficiency. With the development of the liquid crystal display (LCD) TVs, they easily fit into the design of patient rooms, despite large screen sizes.
