ABSTRACT
The article reports on the new biotechnology partnership between Symrise and biotechnology firm Therapeutic Peptides Inc. (TPI) The former has purchased a 20% stake in the latter which gives it the exclusive distribution rights for highly advanced cosmetic active ingredients. It notes that the stake acquisition allows Symrise to have access to peptides and to offer such products to customers within the international cosmetics industry. It adds that under the partnership, TPI gains fresh resources for the maintenance of its research.
