ABSTRACT
The article provides an upgrade about the relationship between the U.S. Endangered Species Act (ESA) and climate change, and surveys the species that have been listed due to global climate change impacts, specifically polar bears, and ESA-based demands for increased species protection and additional listings. It is expected that environmental groups will file more ESA litigation as more species are included in the list. These lawsuits will possibly attempt to regulate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through the ESA.
