ABSTRACT
The article discusses the second U.S. plan to bail out the nation's banking system, and questions if this one will right the crisis. The author concludes that the U.S. credit crunch will ease because of increased trust in the banking system. The author states that the first plan to buy toxic mortgage loans was ill-conceived, but that buying equity stakes in banks should build trust and inject necessary capital.
