ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decline in home sales in Las Vegas, Nevada in August 2008. It says that 2,545 single-family house were sold during the month, compared with 2,592 in July. The median home price was down by 4.5% from July and 30% from 2007. According to Realtors association president Patty Kelly, the price drop was due to the unprecedented number of foreclosures in the city.
