ABSTRACT
The article reports that U.S. Bank will be taking over all of the branches of Nevada State Bank in Smith's Food & Drug Stores in Nevada in January 2009. According to Charles Stroup, U.S. Bank's executive vice president for in-store branches, the bank can expand its operations in the state through these branches. It is said that Nevada State Bank has given up the branches to rely mostly on freestanding sites since most customers bank online.
