The article focuses on the implementation of a programme of culture change at Currys, the largest electrical retailer in Great Britain. This resulted in the formation of the Electricals Leadership Forum (ELF), which comprises the top 70 managers in the division and meets twice a year to decide on strategic issues and review the business. Human Resources convinced forum members that if customer service was to be improved, in-store behaviour would need to change.
