ABSTRACT
The article discusses the developments in the legislation for different areas of labor. Such areas include maternity and paternity leave, extensions to the right to request flexible working, the employment bill, and the single equality bill. Single equality bill is designed to simplify, harmonize, and extend existing equality duties. The bill for flexible working is expected to be implemented in April 2009.
