ABSTRACT
The article reports that consumer confidence has increased in September 2008 around the areas in Nevada but home price index and taxable retail sales have dropped. The Conference Board showed that Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) increased by 1.3 points in September 2008 to a total of 59.8 compared to August 2008. The Standard & Poor's (S&P)/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices maintained a downward trend in July 2008.
