ABSTRACT
The article reports that Thomasville Furniture Industries Inc. has acquired six Thomasville Home Furnishings stores in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey from the old licensee. The company assumed the Philadelphia-area stores from Encore Enterprise through the effort of Clair Suader and Brian Good, at an undisclosed amount. It states that with the Encore deal, the company now owns 42 of its 143 U.S. stores.
