ABSTRACT
The article reports on the wind turbine contract awarded by FPL Energy to Siemens Energy. FPL Energy has ordered 218 wind turbines which will be installed in a number of energy-producing wind farms in the U.S. Munich, Germany-based Siemens has received $2.4 billion in wind turbine orders from U.S. customers for fiscal year 2008-2009.
