ABSTRACT
The article presents a risk summary on the political and economic condition of Thailand for 2008-2009. A survey found that 71.5% of Thais are still supporting the administration of Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat because they believed that he is sincere on doing his duty. The Thai Senate has approved a 2008-2009 budget which aims to help the economy to increase by 5% in 2008 and 5.5% in 2009. The Bank of Thailand is planning to raise funds domestically due to the global financial crisis.
