Cancarb makes upgrades to keep up with thermal black

The article presents a profile of Cancarb Ltd., one of three producers of medium thermal carbon black in the world. Marketing Director Dave Petrie says that last year Cancarb executed the largest non-expansion capital program in the company's 35-year history. In late 2007, Cancarb finished the capital improvement project, which included a complete overhaul of the steam turbine for the company's cogeneration unit at its plant in Medicine Hat in Atlanta, Georgia.
