Plastic laser sintering service extended

September 2008
Industrial Laser Solutions;Sep2008, Vol. 23 Issue 9, p6
The article reports on the production of laser sintered plastic at Ogle Models in Great Britain. It states that the company's production of laser sintered plastic has expanded since it produced a two sets of parts for the cabin and fuel tank of an aircraft in quantities ranging from 50 to 200. The parts was designed to meet the flammability, smoke, and toxicity standards of the civil aerospace industry. The company also produced parts for a thermal imaging camera used in search-and-rescue work.
