ABSTRACT
The article discusses the controversy on air pollution provisions in the U.S. The decision of the federal court on the Clean Air Mercury Rule (CAMR) resulted to dissatisfaction. Stephen Johnson, the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), commented on the decisions of the Supreme Court pertaining on the designation of authority on the regulation of greenhouse gas GHG emissions. Moreover, he suggests that the Congress need to develop a legislation on GHG control.
