Health infrastructure a casualty of war on terror within Pakistan

The article reports that the medical association in Canada is urging the international medical community to join them in fighting against the targeting of health facilities in the Federally Administered Tribal Area of Pakistan by the U. S. and Pakistani forces. The author states that since the start of the U. S.-led war against terrorism in Pakistan in 2005, several health facilities have been attacked. The effects of such attacks, including the scarcity of medical personnel, are also discussed.
