ABSTRACT
The article reports on the survey conducted by the Consumer Confidence Index in the U.S. Due to an improvement in the short-term outlook, the September 2008 result of the Consumer Confidence Index increases from 58.5 in August up to 59.8. On the other hand, deterioration on the labor market still continues. Other information regarding consumer's expectation is also discussed.
