ABSTRACT
The article presents a research which aims to assess techniques that will promote new root growth and aid post-transplant establishment of pot-grown ornamental shrubs, specifically those which have circled roots. Two ornamental shrubs were selected, including Buddleja davidii (Summer Beauty) and Cistus (Snow Fire) as typical popular garden subjects. The results revealed that there are might be more effective practices than root teasing to promote growth and aid plant establishment in shrubs.
