ABSTRACT
This article discusses the life and death of some modern celebrities in the U.S. Accordingly, the paper offers a details on the death of some celebrities like Kurt Cobain, Princess Diana, and Janis Joplin who were praised by an amazed and adoring television audience. Other celebrities cited in the article are idols and icons whose deaths have promoted the overuse of the word iconic in the journalistically driven world.
