ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the agreements made by United States Steel Corp. and ArcelorMittal USA in the U.S. Both companies reached a separate deal on its new four-year labor contracts with the United Steelworkers. In early August 2008, U.S. Steel reached an agreement covering approximately 16,000 workers represented by the United Steelworkers of the company's flatrolled and iron-ore facilities.
