ABSTRACT
The article reports that Rheinmetall is investigating the possibility of creating what it calls a multiple-function Mout gun suitable for urban warfare as part of its portfolio of future weapon system designs. The gun is also capable of direct and indirect fire, the latter capability having been discovered as needed in recent deployments. The company is looking for partners for the development of ad-hoc charges and munitions.
