ABSTRACT
The article reports on the 3,250-square-foot testing laboratory by the Maytag Corp. and Whirlpool Corp. in Saint Joseph, Michigan. It has 20 automatic test stations that are computer-monitored for life testing. It has an additional 15 stations for manual and developmental testing. It is also capable of testing both single- and multi-load products to the power requirements of most countries around the world.
