ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the study conducted by researchers on the evaluation of nanotoxicity in the U.S. Researchers have developed a way to evaluate the safety of nanoparticles by comparing them to nanoparticles already tested for toxicity and determined the effects of the different doses of nanoparticles on a variety of cell types in culture.

Nanotechnology is the science of the small; the very small. It is the use and manipulation of matter at a tiny scale. At this size, atoms and molecules work differently, and provide a variety of surprising and interesting uses. In this paper we tried to touch every aspect of nanotechnology along...

We report on the thermal conductivity of a series of convectively assembled, anisotropic titania (TiO2) nanoparticle films. The TiO2 films are fabricated by flow coating a suspension of ellipsoidal colloidal nanoparticles, resulting in structured films with tailored orientational order. The...

We have examined the formation of InN nanocrystals embedded in InAs. Low temperature (77K) N ion implantation into InAs leads to the formation of an amorphous layer with crystalline InAs remnants. We studied photoluminescence (PL) spectrum and dynamics of SrTiO3 nanoparticles. A broad blue PL band is observed at around 2.9 eV in nanoparticle thin films. The excitation-density dependence of the blue PL intensity indicates that nonradiative Auger recombination dominates the carrier...
