ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of Excalibur to launch electronic poker tables from PokerTek at its poker room in Las Vegas, Nevada. A poker dealer noted that the electronic poker tables are advantageous for players as there are no misdeals. The casino became the first resort to offer a fully automated poker room by installing 12 electronic tables. It is also offering free roll tournaments and low-limit cash games to establish customers' interest in the poker room.
