ABSTRACT
The article reports on a poker room opened by Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The hotel spent a total of $30 million to open the 7,000-square-foot room with 18 tables. The casino hopes to attract some of the top poker players and Hollywood A-listers and professional athletes, as well. The poker room is part of the hotel's overall $800 million expansion and renovation which opened in September 2008.
