ABSTRACT
The article focuses on Top 50 companies that were selected as "Forbes Asia" periodical's Asia-Pacific's biggest listed companies. Long-term profitability, sales and earnings growth, stock prices appreciation etc. of around 500 companies were considered. China was at the top with 13 firms while Indian companies also had a strong showing. The firms that were listed included Angang Steel Co. of China, Bank Rakyat Indonesia and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. of India.
