ABSTRACT
The article provides information on Formosan/Taiwanese ornaments and clothings. Formosan native ornaments are composed of native materials derived from animals, imported metal works, and minor trade items, such as glass bracelets, ivory, and porcelain, which are used as adornments. It notes that the distinct feature of ornaments is the use of Tridacna. Ramie, Yami, Aramie, and Abaca fibers are woven to serve as the tribes clothings.
