The article offers information on a rare complication of gallstone disease known as Gallstone ileus, which is characterized by an obstruction of the small bowel after the migration of one or more gallstones through a cholecystoenteric fistula. A case of an elderly woman in her 90s who was diagnosed with obstructive ileus after she experienced repeated episodes of vomiting, crampy abdominal pain, and an increased sound of the bowel with tympanic sound on percussion along with her abdomen's plain film radiograph and computed tomography scans is presented.
