ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to swimming. Tuolumne County Aquatics Maters in Sierra Nevada region of California challenged its swimmers to raise $100 each to donate to the Cancer Patient Support Fund at the only hospital in the county Sonora Regional Medical Center. Five Masters world records were set at the New England Masters Long Course Championships in June 2008. Six Masters short course meters world records were set at the International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics Championships.
