ABSTRACT
This section offers news briefs on the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) in Great Britain. The business case for developing a culture of well-being will be made at the CIPD's Absence Management conference. A CIPD forum event, taking place at the Royal Institute of British Architects, will look at ways of managing and developing international talent in this competitive business environment. The Royal Opera House's use of YouTube as part of its recruitment strategy is described in the Helping People Learn area of the CIPD website.
