Expanding U.S. dental trade: The quest of the GNYDM

The article focuses on the efforts of the Greater New York Dental Meeting (GNYDM) to increase attendance and make the meeting more productive. The goal of major changes in the GNYDM was to eliminate a registration fee in order to increase attendance. Exhibit booth space were rotated by the GNYDM at international dental meetings in 2006, 2007 and 2008. U.S. dental trade missions in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Beijing, China were sponsored by the GNYDM to search for sales opportunities to a new level.
