ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of the Extrusion Americas unit of Hydro Aluminum to add two custom-made draw benches at its plant in Saint Augustine, Florida. The draw benches have quick loading mechanisms that allow for continuous output, resulting in a significant increase in total capacity. Drawn aluminum tube is used in almost all product manufacturing sectors, such as automotive parts, healthcare products and industrial equipment.
