This article reports that Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (RCCL) has boosted its e-learning programme following an organisational raid at communications firm Siemens. The concept of an organisational raid sees human resources (HR) teams from an assortment of companies visit a firm's premises and observe its HR processes and practices, exchanging advice and asking questions. David Chidley of RCCL said he was impressed by the e-learning programme he saw at Siemens and that it had influenced his thinking on the subject.
