ABSTRACT
The article reports on the $17.5 million raised by ArKal Medical in a Series B financing round up which was led by Thomas McNerney & Partners. ArKal is developing a continuous glucose monitoring system which is designed to eliminate many of the inconveniences of current glucose monitoring technologies. Arvind Jina, president/chief executive officer of ArKal, says with the investment, they will fund the next stage of corporate and product milestones.
