ABSTRACT
The article offers information on a global research regarding heart failure in dogs. It reveals that over 50 percent of dog owners are unaware that their dog may be at risk of heart failure. It points out that heart disease affects one in four dogs, yet the lack of knowledge about the serious, life-threatening condition calls for better education among dog owners. Further information on the factors that cause heart failures in dogs are also presented.
