ABSTRACT
The article reports on the continued information technology (IT) spending among the financial service industry despite of uncertainty in the economy and financial services. It relates that Roseburg, OR bank remains on its track to spend $5 million on its three planned IT initiatives. Furthermore, TowerGroup notes that IT spending toward outsourcing and services will increase with a combined 20.6% of the total $126.6 billion IT spending to 26.3% of 2011 projected spending.
