Getting the parts you bargained for

The article reports on the importance of implementing a proper documentation when purchasing a machine part. It is said that it is important to photograph the part being replaced and make sure at least one shot shows an identifying mark on the part, including a serial number or part number if there is one. The author said that properly documenting, both in writing and with photographs, the terms of a replacement part purchase can save time and money and additional stress.
