The article focuses on the insecurity on employeeing foreign engineers in scientific research by U.S. companies. There are number of incidents where the information was leaked and companies have to pay fine. The most recent firm to get caught was TFC Manufacturing, a Lakewood, California machine shop that paid a $31,000 fine in May 2008 for talking about aircraft parts to an Iranian in the U.S. without getting him the required license.
