ABSTRACT
The article discusses a court case in which Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH) in New York City will pay the U.S. government to settle the allegations that it defrauded Medicare, Medicaid and military's health insurance program TRICARE. The settlement of the case has been confirmed by lawyers Benton Campbell and Gregory Katsas. The hospital will also pay for the damages sustained by the Medicaid Program of New York. The suit was filed by Miguel Tirado, former SIUH director.
