ABSTRACT
The article reports on the move of Aspect Medical Systems to repurchase a portion $15 million face value of its convertible senior notes. According to Aspect chief financial officer (CFO) Mike Falvey, the company's financial position continues to be strong. He adds that Aspect gained about $6 million from the repurchase because it was completed at a discount. The Bispectral Index (BIS) technology of Aspect is used in diagnosing neurological diseases.
