ABSTRACT
We analyze a connection between the neutralino mass sign, parity and structure of the neutralino–boson interaction. Correct calculation of spin-dependent and spin-independent contributions to neutralino–nuclear scattering should consider this connection. A convenient diagonalization procedure, based on the exponential parametrization of unitary matrix, is suggested.

An ab initio R-matrix method for determining the molecular reaction matrix of scattering theory is introduced. The method makes use of a principal-value Green function to compute the collision channel wave functions for the scattered electron, in combination with the Kohn variational scheme for...

We generalize our previous model for $\gamma^* p$ scattering to $\gamma \gamma$ scattering. In the latter case the number of components naturally grows. When using the model parameters from our previous $\gamma^* p$ analysis the model cross section for $\gamma \gamma$ scattering is larger than...

The parton rescattering effect on the charged particle production in ultra-relativistic p+p collisions is studied by the parton and hadron cascade model PACIAE, based on PYTHIA. We have calculated charged particle pseudorapidity density at mid-rapidity and the pseudorapidity distribution in...

It is argued that adjusting strong potentials directly to observed hadronic atom level shifts may lead to significantly different scattering lengths than those predicted by the Deser formula [1]. The idea is demonstrated on the case of the 1 s level shift of kaonic hydrogen.

The article investigates the scattering of electrons and positrons transmitted through tungsten thin crystals for a model of binary collision. The findings were given such as the angular distribution and the average squared angle of the scattering that is compared with the theory involving...
