ABSTRACT
The article discusses the 2008 National Disability Employment Awareness Month in the U.S., which aims to recognize the contributions of the working people with disabilities. Elain L. Chao, U.S. Secretary of Labor states that full access to community life of disabled Americans is imperative. Neil Romano, assistant secretary for Office for Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) states that employment in people with disabilities creates diversity that would further improve the economy of the nation.
