ABSTRACT
The article reports on the growth of vacant-property insurance sales due to the high foreclosure rate in the U.S. David J. Price, Burns & Wilcox executive vice president and chief underwriting officer, has stated that it has written another 7,000 vacant property policies. Meanwhile, the insurance policy of Guardian Mortgage Co. does not secure separate insurance policies for each foreclosed property as indicated by vice president Marcus McCue.
