ABSTRACT
The article presents a study on the hand disability on cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) patients by using the quantitative Nine-Hole-Peg Test (9-HPT). It states that the 9-HPT offers the opportunity to test dexterity hand by hand, and shows a high prevalence of hand disability in CSM patients in the present study. It suggests that in clinical practice, the 9-HPT appears to be an appropriate test to evaluate treatment efficiency in CSM.
